Questions Week #1

Here are the questions we need to answer in a reflective essay paragraph (3-5 ish sentences).  Answer by editing the post

We need to do this once each week

1) Claim of progress (what have you done since last time? Failures? Successes?)

We have done a few things since last time (a week ago).  We have done successfully is deciding what song we will do for our dance and as well as we have successfully learned the 한글 alphabet.  There weren't really any failures to note at this point.

2) What could you be doing that you haven't yet? (reasons? Plan? Has anything changed about the project?)?

We could have done a lot of things that we haven't done yet.  What we all really need to do is to work on the dance, because that alone will take a lot of time and effort.  We might plan to meet up sometime outside of school in order to get that done.  Nothing has changed about the project at this point.

3) How do you think things will turn out (what is your short term goal? What does it have to do with the long term?)?

Our short term goal is just to learn Korean and finish up our first dance project.  Out long term goal is to be able to communicate among each other using Korean and learning at least five full dances of K-pop songs (and maybe some chorus of some other songs).

4) What have you learned (areas of knowledge you have explored, specific methods, etc.)?

We haven't done much at this point so we can't say what specific methods we have used, but we did learn a couple of things leading up to this point.  First, Maya learned the Hangul alphabet.  Second, we learned that learning the dance will not be as easy as we think.

5) What will you need to learn to move forward?

In order to move forward, we need to learn a variety of things. First of all, we need to learn more Korean. Second of all, we need to fully learn the dance of the current song we are working on. If we never learn these crucial parts to our project, we will never reach our goal.

6) What kinds of help do you need? How can you go about getting it?

We could seek professional help with pronunciation of the language and with our dance. For our dance it would be beneficial to find a studio to get together in, take dancing classes or advice, and other neat stuff.
